Paseo del Rey Fights Dirty
We’re fighting dirty water in the name of our rescuer Jesus because . . .
. . . dirty water kills more people than all forms of violence, including terrorism and war!
. . . dirty water-related diarrhea kills more children than AIDS, malaria and males combined!
. . . every 20 seconds a child dies from a dirty water-related disease!
Teaming with our good friends at 20 Liters, we built the inside parts of 200 water filters that will bring clean and living water to the most vulnerable families in Rwanda.
Kids, parents, grandparents, and friends all made a difference in the lives of people who don’t have access to clean, safe water in Rwanda.
Each filter serves three to four families, about twelve to twenty people and more.
And Paseo del Rey raised $5000 to provide supplies for these, and more clean water filters!
Jesus' kindness to us, and through us.
Here's a great video An Act of Kindness and some great pictures from our build this past Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Paseo del Rey Church.
Thank you to all of you who are fighting dirty in the name of Jesus!
