The Good News (Gospel) of Jesus is that He loves us and has rescued us broken and messy sinners!
And The Good News of Jesus is that He is transforming us from the inside out to be more and more like Him.
He's put His Spirit inside us. His Holy Spirit is changing our old desires into His new desires. His Spirit empowers us where we are weak and unable. And His Spirit is giving us new love for people. For one another.
His Word is full of encouragement of how we should love and treat one another, all prompted and empowered by Him. Listen to Jesus speak into your life about His desire for our relationships with each other. Think on these good things. Take one a day as a personal or family devotion.
Where has Jesus already been changing your desires, attitudes and actions toward one another? Where is He already working in your life? Tell us, tell someone the God-working-in-you-story.
Share where you have seen God's good work in someone else's life toward another. Share it with them, encouraging them toward more love and good works, Hebrews 10.24-25.
And where do you need to ask God to help you grow in your relationship with others? Don't be just a hearer of God's Word, be a doer, James 1.22-25.
