No, you go!
This past Sunday, we studied Philippians 2:1-5. Included in that passage is this challenge:
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. - Philippians 2:3-4
As a church family, we want to strive together to put others first. Do we tend to think "me first?" Or should we be more like the people in the following video, letting others go first?
Arriving on time to our Sunday morning worship gatherings was just one of the simple examples we discussed that would help us demonstrate our desire to value others abover ourselves.
Advantages of arriving at church early:
1 - You have more time to find a parking spot while still leaving the best spots for our guests.
2 - You can get your kids settled into their classrooms.
3 - You have time to enjoy a warm beverage from the coffee cart.
4 - You can visit with other Paseo del Reyans that are coming or going.
5 - You can find a seat in the Worship Center while still leaving back rows and aisle seats for those who are visiting or coming in late.
6 - You'll be in your seat, ready to give Jesus your attention when worship starts at 9:00 or 10:35 a.m.!
Thanks for being a church family who desire to value one another!
