Grace

Read it over. Again. Slowly.

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.

2 Corinthians 9.8

God.

God is able.

God is able to pour out more than abundant grace.

So you will have everything you need, in every situation and at all times, so you may overflow in grace-enabled, Spirit-powered works for Him.

In sickness and in health. When he's grouchy or she's holding a grudge. When you're afraid to share your faith with a neighbor. When your guts feel ripped out by what a friend said, or did. When you feel alone. Or misunderstood. Or let down. Or unappreciated.

Or when you're tempted to find fault, His grace will abound in you so you can forbear and encourage your child, your friend.

Or when you'd rather take, He'll enable you to give.

When you're in it for the long haul, He gives you the grace you need. You don't have to wear out. You don't have to give up. You don't have to be depleted. His sustaining, transforming, enabling grace is always more than sufficient!

"But I'm not worthy of such loving grace."

Exactly. That's why they call it grace. God's grace.

God.

Always able.

This is an amazing promise from the one promise keeper.

God is always able to pour out more than abundant grace in all things and at all times.
