An Interview with Max Lucado About His New Book, Grace

MaxLucado1Max Lucado is an awesomely gifted writer.

His insights and word pictures of the wonder of the Gospel of Jesus have encouraged me over the years.

Two of my favorite books of his books are No Wonder They Call Him Savior and Traveling Light: Releasing the Burdens You Were Never Intended to Bear.

Looking for some good books to help your younger children grow in Jesus? Max has some great ones! Check these out

Max has just come out with a new book, Grace: More Than We Deserve, Greater Than We Imagine.  I haven't gotten it yet, but I've been reading some great reviews. It sounds like Max at his best, enjoying and living in God's undeserved grace! Here's what a couple of good folks are saying about his Grace:

“I can think of no more needed message for weary people everywhere, and no better writer than Max Lucado to paint so gloriously the hope that "Christ in you" affords.” Louie Giglio, creator of Passion Conferences and pastor, Passion City Church.

“Reading Max Lucado on grace is like hearing Warren Buffett on money or Julia Child on food—it’s a subject he spent a lifetime falling in love with.” John Ortberg, pastor and author, Menlo Park Presbyterian Church

Sounds like it would make a great gift for one of your reading friends.

Or a good gift to yourself!

Here's a six minute interview about Grace with Max, and Michael Hyatt, the former Chairman and CEO of Thomas Nelson Publisher.

Paseo del Rey is offering a new women's Sunday morning group studying Max's new book Grace.  The group begins Sunday, February 24, 9am , room 102. Click here for more information. You're invited to join us.
